You are welcome to have one or two support people with you at every discussion and visit.
The typical treatment schedule is outlined below, and it can be modified based on the initial consultation.

Initial Consultation
A 1 hour consultation with one of our specialists, completed in person or online. This involves discussing your medical history and current situation. If you decide to take the next step we will ask you for copies of your medical records, or help you to access these, so we have the complete picture. We will also complete a TMS safety checklist with you and send you a couple of short questionnaires about how FND is currently affecting you.

The second consultation with one of our specialists involves reviewing all of your information with you, and making a decision with you about whether or not to go ahead with treatment. The treatment strategy is delivered over 3 consecutive days at the Clinical Research Centre at the University of Auckland, in Grafton, Auckland, New Zealand. We will let you know what to expect for the 3-day in-person treatment.
$597Pre-treatment Assessment
On Day 1 we will use standardised clinical assessments to gain a detailed understanding of your current symptoms. We will also provide you with detailed information about FND that is grounded in contemporary neuroscience and tailored to your situation. This visit takes up to 90 minutes.

On Day 2 our expert team of clinicians and neuroscientists will use TMS to test the pathways from your brain’s motor system to your legs and arms. This is an important step and if the TMS test indicates another neurological condition we will stop and refer you for further investigations.
$1,567Treatment and Follow-up Consultations
On Day 2 we will use TMS-enhanced treatment to reset your brain’s motor system followed by specialised neurological physiotherapy to rapidly restore movement and full, effortless function. This takes 4 to 6 hours, with a break for lunch and any other breaks you might need.On Day 3 We will meet with you for a debrief to address any of your questions or concerns. We will also provide you with self-management strategies and guide your plan for returning to normal activities and life after FND. This visit takes up to 90 minutes.
Follow-up consultations will be scheduled for 1 week and 1 month after treatment. These can be in person or online and take 30 minutes.

You can request further follow-up consultations within 3 months after treatment if you would like additional advice or support, at $297 each. If you complete 4 follow-up consultations and are still experiencing issues we will complete a full clinical review, at no cost to you.
