TMS Training for MEP Status Determination

Neuvara provides training in the use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to determine Motor Evoked Potential (MEP) status as part of the PREP2 upper-limb recovery prediction tool following stroke.

Training combines online learning with hands-on training to teach clinicians how to perform TMS assessments, record and interpret electromyography (EMG) responses, and accurately determine MEP status.

Training covers:

  • TMS principles

  • Safety screening and contraindications

  • EMG recording techniques

  • The PREP2 TMS protocol

  • Identification of MEPs in simple and complex cases

  • Clinical implementation and troubleshooting

TMS training is delivered by clinicians and researchers with internationally recognised expertise in stroke recovery prediction, clinical neurophysiology, rehabilitation neuroscience, and the development and implementation of the PREP2 prediction tool.
